Sometimes you need to escape

Your Personal Self-Guided Retreat, At Our Place

Sometimes you need to escape. To work on the strategy. To work on you. To reflect on life. To find inspiration. To rest. Or, just because.

Here’s your itinerary:

Fly: Into RIC. Rent a car, or hop rideshare. Downtown Richmond is 20 minutes away.

Sleep: Rent an apartment near us at Evelyn. Or if you want something cozier, tuck into a converted garage. Both located close to us South of the James River.

Breakfast: At Janet’s or Blanchard’s or Stella’s — all less than a 5 minute walk from Evelyn. Diner fair and bagels are just across from our HQ. Eat 66 and Baltik’s available until 2pm daily.

Work: At our place. Email us, we’ll ping you a code for 24/7 access to lounges, studios, call booths, writers rooms...

Paddle: At Huguenot Flatwater. We’ve got you sorted for boards, vests and paddles. If it’s the right season, we’ll take you downriver on the rapids.

Bike: Pony Pasture Park. Just grab a bike and helmet from the studios and go.

Walk: You’ll be amongst one of the greatest park system’s in the country. Stroll Forest Hill Park, any James River Park System trail or the gardens at Maymont.

Develop: Book a media training session with EB. A thriving session with Dr Dow. Or career design with Candace.

Lunch: Refuel at Galley, Eat 66, Natalie’s— all easy and walkable from our home base.

Record: In CANVAS Studios or Rogue Podcast Studio. Capture your message to your team.

Shop: Browse Carytown— Richmond’s wandering retail district. Shops, restaurants, and venues. Local, eclectic, and walkable.

Drink: At The Veil Brewery, Vasen Brewing Company, Riverside Tavern, O’Tooles Pub, or Gramophone Wine Bar.

Wander: Explore the Virginia Museum of Fine Art, Branch Museum of Design or VCU Institute of Contemporary Art.

Create: Sign up for a class at Studio Two Three, Visual Arts Center of Richmond or 43rd St Studios.

Dinner: End the day at Laura Lee’s, Riverside Tavern, Little Nickel or Lucky AF — all walkable from Evelyn.

See a Show: Allianz Amphitheater at River Front, The National, or The Broadberry.
